Yesterday was Rendezvous, the annual meet-and-greet/fiber festival for our spinning group the Log Cabin Spinners. This was my first year vending there although I'd attended for the past 4 years. In honor of the blog name, Eye Candy Friday this week is a picture of some lovely orchids that I took while we were at the OKC Botanical Gardens on Monday. Yesterday, the day after Halloween while the veil between this world and the next was ever so thin still, our chinchilla, Shinji, died in his sleep. I'm still not doing too well over this, and I'm very bothered that we don't know why he died so suddenly, when he was in such good health.
